Here are a selection of some of my favourite shots from the numerous family photoshoots that I did in 2014!

I offer a variety of packages for family photoshoots, ranging from £65 (including 7 prints of various sizes), through to £165 for a photoshoot with all of your final images on CD. I have studio set-up at my home in Fernwood, Newark which is easily accessible from the A1.

I have photographed families of all ages, from just a few weeks old to over 90 years old....im sure most people would agree that theres no better gift than a family photograph, so please get in touch to book your photoshoot asap - dates already filling up for Christmas!

I am very behind in keeping my blog up to date, but gradually over the next few months ill be adding articles about all the weddings ive covered over this year.....im so lucky to have the opportunity to be part of a couples special day, I take this 'part' very seriously - after all, I am the one person they've chosen to capture the memories of their wedding, such a huge responsibility! For that reason I treat every wedding, however big or small, with the uttermost importance and prepare myself for the day in the same way each time.... #honoured

 

The end of September last year saw my last wedding of 2014 - The wedding of Dawn & Mick at The Gateway in Nottingham. Dawn actually found me through knowing my Dad, who a few years ago was her driving instructor!

The day began at the hotel, with the bride and her bridesmaids preparing for the excitement ahead. Jade Fraser ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Make-Up-by-Jade/213331842033465 ) was the makeup artist for the day, a very talented lady whom ive worked with before whilst photographing weddings at many venues accross Nottinghamshire.

The colour them of the wedding was deep red, with the bridesmaids in matching elegant dresses and shrugs, and gorgeous detail throughout the whole wedding including the flowers, cake and venue decoration - clearly a lot of thought had gone into this and it paid off, everything & everyone looked stunning!

There were many smiles and laughs throughout the day, making it a very emotional and happy occassion! We took the majority of Dawn & Micks wedding pictures in the grounds of the Nottingham Gateway Hotel, where they have a little woodland area which made a great backdrop for the images. Inside the hotel, the reception area is huge and light - surrounded by floor to ceiling windows, perfect for photography! With a balcony overlooking the reception area this was the perfect place to do an aerial shot of all the guests as the final shot before they went into the reception room for the wedding breakfast.

On the 27th September I had the pleasure of photographing James & Laurens wedding at the the beautiful White Hart Hotel in the cathedral quarter area of Lincoln. This was my last wedding of the year, and what an amazing wedding to end on! Lauren looked truly stunning, picture perfect! James looked very handsome in his kilt & jacket, as did his ushers and best man. The bridesmaids certainly did Lauren proud too in their Tiffany turquiose long floaty dresses, very pretty!
